We have full on-line manuals that can be easily configured with your logo and company name. These manuals cover uploading with FTP, CGI/Perl scripts, using the web control panel and a support FAQ.

You can also brand the control panel and support documentation with a GIF or JPG image file if you are reselling our services.

Who handles the domain registration and transfers?

We can register new domain names for $14.95. You will need to perform the transfer of existing domain names with your current registrar by updating the name servers.

Do you host international customers?

Yes, we are proud to be currently hosting web sites in many different countries. It is also possible for us to host your non-US domains. For overseas orders we accept credit cards in US currency.

How long does it take to set up a new reseller account?

Orders submitted will be set-up instantly. We will send you an activation notice via email which includes all relevant account information you need to know.

Is there a minimum term I have to use OptimumHosting?

There is no set contract term, you can terminate your account at any time. All accounts are required to be paid up until the end of the monthly billing cycle. We also offer a 30-day money back guarantee and free account activation.

What if I don't need 1000 megabytes of space and 1000 POP e-mail accounts?

The monthly rate of $24.95 is the minimum account fee. Most resellers don't actually use half of what each account is assigned which is why we can provide resellers with such a good rate.

Are you the owner of the server/hardware?

What type of servers do you use on your network?

We use high performance Pentium 4 based servers with the Unix operating system and an internally modified version of the Apache web server running the Plesk control panel.

Are there any limitations on how I resell your services?

No, you can resell domain names as a hosting provider, a web developer or you can even be the owner for a number of your own web sites.

How can I check domain availability?

We have setup an online facility to assist you or your customers in selecting a domain name. You can check on the availability of a domain name using the WHOIS form below:

Do you offer domain  registration?

Yes. We can register new domain names at the discounted rate of $14.95. Domain transfers are free as you have registered them elsewhere.

How are domain names added to my reseller account?

Once you signup to become a reseller, you will have access to a control panel that has simple options for adding/removing domain names plus other administrative functions is required.

Do you support Microsoft FrontPage?

Yes. We support Microsoft FrontPage 98/2002 extensions for your convenience.

Do you offer CGI, Perl, MySQL and PHP?

Yes, these features are included free of change on any of the domain names you add.

Do you support SSI’s (Server Side Includes)?

Yes. Server side includes are enabled on all domain names.

Do you support SSL (Secure Socket Layer)?

Yes, Secure Socket Layer is included on all domain names should you wish to enable 128-bit encryption on some of your accounts.

Does each domain name have an IP number allocated?

No, IP numbers are shared across the domain names. When using SSL and other enhanced features, static IP numbers are not required for legitimate account use.

Can I install my own CGI scripts?

All accounts include the ability to install your own CGI scripts. We have installed PERL version 5 for your convenience.

Any domain name found using an offensive script will have all domain names terminated without notice. This includes 'spamming' mass mailing, hacking and denial of service scripts of any kind.
